Burst Pipes
Signs Of A Burst Pipe
Abnormally high water bills
Some burst pipes are quick and easy to find especially if water is spurting out, however, many burst or leaking pipes can go undetected for extended periods. One tell-tale sign of a hidden leak or burst pipe is an unusually high water bill.
Discoloured or strange-smelling water
When a pipe is cracked or broken the water inside can pick up rust, dust or other contaminants located in and around the pipes.
Changes in water pressure
All mains water into the house is pressurised and if the pressure in your taps or showers regularly drops or fluctuates it could be a sign of a leaking or burst pipe.
Pipes clanging & dripping sounds in the walls
Pipes clanging and dripping sounds coming from the walls are also a sign of a hidden leak.
Wet patches and watermarks on the walls and ceilings
When your pipes burst or leak, the water often pools around the area of the leak and causes damp patches in the walls.
Wet patches or puddles in outdoor areas
If you’ve got wet patches or puddles in your outdoor areas or soggy patches of lawn, there’s a good chance that you’ve got a leaky stormwater or sewer pipe.

Stormwater & Sewer Pipe Repairs
Tree roots cause the majority of leaks found in sewer and stormwater pipes. Our plumbers can quickly locate and cost-effectively repair most leaking or burst pipes without the need to excavate or dig.
Pipe Relining
Pipe relining is one of the most cost-effective and efficient ways to repair broken and damaged pipes. There’s no need to dig or excavate to replace the broken pipe. Instead, the pipe is prepared using specialist equipment and relined from the inside using a super-strong epoxy resin and pipe liner to create a pipe within a pipe.
Pipe relining provides a strong and permanent solution for cracked and damaged sewer or stormwater pipes.
Pipe Replacement
Whilst the majority of sewer and stormwater pipes can be repaired using a pipe relining system, some larger leaks may require sections of the pipework to be replaced. In these cases, the broken pipe will be removed and replaced with a section of new pipe.
